All cakes are made in the same kitchen where nuts, gluten and dairy are present. Due to this, A.Baker does not offer any gluten free or dairy free cakes.

Yes! All A.Baker cakes are frosted using either Swiss Meringue or American Buttercream. A.Baker does not make any fondant covered cakes.

A.Baker offers a wide range of cake sizes. A size chart can be found on each individual cake page:

- 3" Mini | Feeds 1 (Minimum order of 6)
- 6" Short | Feeds 4-6
- 6" Tall | Feeds 8 - 10
- 8" Short | Feeds 12 - 16
- 8" Tall | Feeds 18-20

A.Baker is happy to work together with your florist to have them supply flowers for your cake for an additional fee.  We will then prepare and place them on the cake ahead of pick up/delivery.

We recommend you place an order as soon as you know your event date, as the calendar can fill up quickly - especially weekends and holidays. However, if our calendar is not booked, orders may be made up to 7 days before the order date.

A.Baker is based in the 75209 zip code of Dallas, Texas.  We are a licensed home bakery and you will be sent the pick up address in your order confirmation.

We advise that you transport your cake on a flat surface in your vehicle (the floor or your trunk) with the air conditioner on. While driving, be sure to take corners slowly and break gently.

If the cake is not being delivered directly to the final destination, it must be refrigerated before any further transport.

Due to the nature of cake, it cannot be left on a porch open to the elements and critters. When placing an order for delivery please ensure the recipient will be home on the day selected.  A.Baker will contact them to confirm a time frame for drop off.

A.Baker cakes must be refrigerated. For optimum taste, always serve your cake at room temperature. Between 1-2 hours out of the fridge before cutting and eating is a safe time frame.

If you are not eating your cake on the day of pickup, store the cake in a fridge with no odors. Fresh cake is always best, but your cake will store very well in the fridge for up to 5 days (decor may vary).

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may limit or cancel quantities purchased. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or phone number provided at the time the order was made.

A.Baker offers a full refund for cancellations more than 1 week prior to the pick up/delivery date. For orders canceled less than 1 week from the pick up/delivery date, the full price of the cake will be charged. The final date to make modifications to your order is 1 week prior to your event.

A.Baker assumes no liability or responsibility after the order leaves our kitchen for pick up, or after the order has been delivered to the final address for delivery.
